Sales inch up but profits plummet at pharmaceutical firms
Korea's listed drug companies witnessed a sales inch up last year from a year earlier, but fell short of reaping more profits than the previous year, data showed Wednesday.
Sales by 50 listed firms rose 1.2 percent to 10.1 trillion won ($1.4 million) in the fiscal year 2012 from a year earlier, according to Yakup.com, a pharmaceutical information provider.
