Government seeks free Hib vaccinations

To support childcare, the government is considering offering free vaccination for children against hemophilus influenzae type B (Hib), the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

With the state budget being allocated for the vaccines, health officials expect the nation's first round of the Hib vaccinations will start next month.
