Ildong to release novel weight loss pill in 2014

Ildong Pharm said Monday that it has entered into a marketing and supply agreement with the U.S. based Arena Pharmaceuticals for Belviq (lorcaserin HCl), the first new prescription drug for long-term weight loss to enter the U.S. market in over a decade.
