Dong-A Pharm to split into two operating entities

Dong-A Pharm Co., a Korea’s largest drugmaker, said Tuesday that it will split into two operating entities to simplify its corporate structure and boost investor interest.

A board of directors finalized the plan on Tuesday, Dong-A said in a regulatory filing, and the decision will be decided at a shareholders' meeting scheduled for next January.
