Alvogen buys 50.5 percent share of Kunwha

The U.S. generics company Alvogen Group recently purchased 50.5 percent in shares of mid-sized Kunwha Pharmaceutical Co.

Alvogen said Friday that it has entered into an agreement to acquire a majority share in Kunwha Pharmaceutical through a combination of new shares issued by Kunwha to Alvogen and the acquisition of shares owned by Mr. Hongsun Chang, Kunwha´s Chairman and related parties.
