KFDA to readjust maximum dose of Tylenol
The Korea Food and Drug Administration is considering reducing the maximum dose of Tylenol (acetaminophen) due to possible hepatotoxicity.
During a parliamentary inspection of the KFDA Thursday, Rep Shin Kyung-rim of the ruling Saenuri Party said that as acetaminophen is highly toxic, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration ordered manufacturers to lower its daily maximum dose to 3,000 mg.
