Celltrion files patent application for new breast cancer drug

A local biopharmaceutical company has pushed up with its project to develop an ADR (antibody-drug conjugate) based breast cancer drug, paving the way for it to enter a new market with lucrative potential.

Celltrion announced yesterday that it filed a patent application for CT-P26 after animal experiments.

The company will carry out clinical trials for an earlier commercialization.
