Serious diseases take toll on health insurance

The number of people under health insurance coverage, who suffered from serious diseases, such as hemophilia, leukemia and liver cancer, escalated to 1,523 in 2010, a 2.7-fold increase compared to 559 in 2007, according to a lawmaker.
