Gilead’s Viread to be covered by health insurance

The National Health Insurance Corporation (NHIC) said Monday that it would list Gilead Sciences’ Viread (tenofovir) into the positive list from November, as the US based company’s Korean exclusive distributor Yuhan Corp. finally agreed to reduce the insurance price of Viread below the average weighed price of Baraclude (entecavir).
