Market value by foreign ownership tops 1.8 trillion won mark

Korea’s 57 pharmaceutical companies that went public on the local bourse saw their combined foreign ownership reach 5.2 percent to 1.8 trillion won as of August 21, Yakup.com., a website tracking Korean drug makers, revealed Tuesday.

Foreigners expanded their influence at Handok Pharmaceutical, Yuhan Corp., Chong Kun Gun Dang Pharmaceutical, Green Cross Corp. and Dong-A Pharmaceutical.
