Drug re-classification plan hit snag

Early in June, the Korea Food and Drug Administration decided to switch a total of 273 over-the-counter drugs to prescription drugs and 212 prescription items to OTC drugs. After consulting with social leaders, the drug agency will finalize the lineup in July, to come into effect no later than the beginning of next year.
