Yuhan to introduce 7 original drugs

To prepare for government-mandated cuts in drug prices, Yuhan Corp. has recently unveiled its plan to sell seven original brands, including Boehringer Ingelhheim’s Micardis and Gilead’s Truvada, within the year by joining forces with foreign companies to avoid losses.

The company said the price cuts will cost them a maximum of 100 billion won in sales.
