U.S. seeks patent protection for drugs, expert say

The controversial patent linkage system is aimed at delaying the market organization of a drug to protect the interests of U.S. drug makers in the Korean domestic market under the Korea-U.S. free trade agreement (KORUS FTA), an expert said.
