KFDA to reclassify 500 medicines

The Korea Food & Drug Association (KFDA) said Tuesday that it has nearly completed the re-classification of all 6,630 drugs as part of measures to reduce customers' inconvenience in buying drugs and strengthen monitoring of drug use.

Among them, the number of re-categorized medicines is estimated at 500.
