Assembly likely to pass OTC drug sales bill

The ruling and opposition lawmakers agreed to extend the current extraordinary session until March 16 to deal with bills left unattended at each standing committee.

Among them is an OTC drug sales bill, which the National Assembly's health and welfare committee on Feb. 14 approved the revision to the country's pharmaceutical affairs act, which only permits pharmacies to sell drugs.
