Health ministry to push drug pricing reform

Health and Welfare Minister Rim Che-min indicated Wednesday that his ministry will not seek to push its plan to slash the price of about half the drugs on the market by an average of 14 percent starting next year.

In a meeting with executives from the Federation of Korean Chemical Workers’ Union Wednesday, Rim said the plan will take effect as planned without modification.
