Boryung sells 160 million packs of Gelfos

Boryung Pharmaceutical said its Gelfos (aluminum phosphate) exceeded 160 million packs in the domestic antacid market over the past 36 years, amounting to 1.2 trillion won.

Gelfos, which stands for gel and force, is the country’s most popular antacid. It was first produced in 1975 and beloved widely by the public, thanks to Boryung’s aggressive advertisements and a handy dosage form.
