Health insurance to cover 73 drugs
The Ministry of Health and Welfare said Monday that a total of 73 generic drugs, including Handok’s Amaryl-M (metformin HCl), will be covered by the national health insurance from Dec. 1.
The ministry also said that 374 drugs will be excluded from the insurance eligible list.
The generic drug of Amaryl-M 250 mg and 500 mg is priced at 133 won and 199 won per pill.
