Returned goods headache in pharmaceutical industry

The government needs to deal with returned goods in pharmacy as retail drug prices are expected to fall about 17 percent on average beginning next year following a set of government-led reforms, market observers said.

A report released by the Korea Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association forecast that the scheme would reduce the industry’s annual sales revenue by 2.1 trillion won.
