Drug dispensing fee to rise 2.6%

The National Health Insurance said Monday it will raise the one-day pharmacy dispensing fee by 2.6 percent beginning next year. Under the government's plan, a patient must pay an additional 90 won per one-day dispensing, to 4,060 won.

The dispensing charge comprises of pharmacy management plus drug guidance and dispensing fees.

The common three-day dispensing will be charged at 4,890 won.
