Pharmaceutical firms to pin hopes on upcoming workshop

The Korea Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association said Monday that its 20 member companies will hold an informal workshop with the Ministry of Health and Welfare between October 11 and 12 to discuss the government’s plan to cut drug prices by an average of 17 percent starting next year. The association said drug firms are pinning a higher hope on the workshop.
