New drug pricing reform to hurt local drug makers

Korean drug firms will no longer be safe from the corporate restructuring, after retail drug prices are to fall about 17 percent on average beginning next year following a set of government-led reforms, according to market observers.

Currently, domestic drug makers are concerned by the potentially significant impact of this reform on the prices and profit margin of their products.
