114 drugs pass bioequivalence testing in first half

The Korea Food and Drug Administration said Thursday that it approved a total of 114 bioequivalence-endorsed medicines in the first half of this year, down 35 percent compared with 176 drugs in the same period of last year.

By active ingredient, pregabalin led any others with 20 cases, followed by glimepiride plus metformin HCl with 16 cases and sodium ibandronate with 10 cases.
