After the Ministry of Health and Welfare decided last week to allow 44 over-the-counter (OTC) medicines to be sold at supermarkets and convenience stores, the Korean Pharmaceutical Association demanded yesterday that a total of 20 substances, being equivalent to 470 medicines, be switched into OTC products.
