Pharmacists insist switching of popular prescription drugs into OTC drug

Influenced by the government’s U-turn to allow 44 over-the-counter (OTC) medicines to be sold at supermarkets and convenience stores, the Korean Pharmaceutical Association demanded Friday that other popular prescription medicines, such as Viagra, should be allowed to be sold from pharmacies as OTC products, to comply with their losses from sales of the liberalized medicines.
