After President Lee Myung-bak harshly criticized the Ministry of Health and Welfare for continuing to ban the sale of over-the-counter medicine in supermarkets and convenience stores, the ministry said Friday that it has a plan to submit to the National Assembly a bill aiming to revise the pharmaceutical law to allow OTC drugs to be purchased outside pharmacies.
