Korea urged to support production of generic drugs

The Korean government should work out measures to encourage pharmaceutical firms to develop more effective and cheaper drugs, strengthening the competitiveness of the country’s pharmaceutical industry, according to the Korea Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association.
