Private health insurance market size hovers at 33 trillion won

Korea's private insurance market is expected to grow further as its market size in 2008 reached 33.4 trillion won, according to the Korea Institute for Health and Social Affairs.

In a forum held on Thursday, the institute said that private insurance market accounted for 30.2 percent of total health insurance market valued at 110 trillion won.
