Civic group calls for supermarkets to sell digestive pills

The Citizens’ Coalition for Economic Justice said Wednesday that the government should let customers buy simple medicines at supermarkets and convenience stores.

In a recent press interview, CCEJ officials said the civic group will launch a nationwide campaign persistently and extensively so that the over-the-counter (OTC) medicines may be sold at non-pharmacy stores.
