Ilyang to operate flu vaccine plant

Ilyang Pharmaceutical Co. says it will complete its vaccine plant for influenza with an annual egg-based production capacity of 60 million doses of flu vaccine in Jecheon, North Chungcheong on April 11, one year after its ground-breaking.

“In an effort to secure an adequate supply of the vaccine we will build a new plant,’’ a company official said.
