Minister opposes sale of OTC drugs at convenience stores

The government said Monday at it will not allow supermarkets to sell over-the-counter drugs. Instead it is considering permitting anti-fire or police stations to sell OTC at nighttime to better protect public health,
In a media news program, Health, Welfare and Family Affairs Minister Kim Chin Soo-hee said that she should oppose the move, citing risks of increasing drug abuse or misuse.
