KFDA restricts use of buflomedil preparations

The Korea Food and Drug Administration said recently that it imposes new restrictions on the use of a vasodilator buflomedil in an effort to protect patients from the risks of neurological and heart problems.

The administration ordered doctors to refrain from prescribing it for patients.
