New incentive system for medical institutions should be overhauled

The pharmaceutical industry in large is skeptical of the new system aiming to punish both the briber and recipient and reimburse buyers 70 percent of the price differential when they buy prices below the government-fixed price ceiling.

The health ministry hopes this profit incentive would drive hospitals and pharmacies to be more aggressive in their bargaining with drug manufacturers.
