The Korea Food and Drug Administration has ordered pharmaceutical firms, including Samjin Pharma and Bayer Korea, to conduct a joint research to investigate the safety of isopropylantipyrine (IPA) over side effects such as aplastic anemia until March 2012, as part of its efforts to further strengthen the safety of medicine from this year.
