Government seeking to ensure better stability of health insurance fund

This year’s health insurance policy will focus on propping up the financial health of national insurance through introduction of a ceiling on how much money can be paid to insurance subscribers and discourage patients with minor diseases from seeking expensive medical attention, the Ministry of Health and Welfare said on December 30 in its annual policy report.
