Government to scrutinize dumping acts in general hospital

As the new drug-pricing system has driven hospitals to be more aggressive in their low-price bargaining with drug manufacturers and wholesalers, the Ministry of Health and Welfare will closely monitor any irregular deals between general hospitals and pharmaceutical firms, according to a regional chapter of the Korea Pharmaceutical Association.
