Korea’s pharmaceutical export tops $957 million in first half

Stimulated by robust demand of pharmaceutical raw materials and oriental medicines, exports by local pharmaceutical companies posted $957 million in the first half of this year, according to data released by the Korea Pharmaceutical Traders Association on October 12.

By category, export of raw material bulks recorded $422 million, a whopping 53-percent increase over the previous period.
