Health ministry skeptical over OTC sales in supermarkets
It is too early to allow over-the-counter (OTC) drugs to be sold at supermarkets and other non-pharmaceutical stores, said Health and welfare minister Chin Soo-hee on October 4.
During the annual parliamentary inspection of the Ministry of Health and Welfare, Chin said that it could lead to drug abuse, adding that her ministry will urge more pharmacies to open at night.
