285 antihypertensive drugs to be excluded from insurance

The Health Insurance Review Assessment and Service announced on September 13 that health insurance will no longer cover a total of 285 antihypertensive agents which have been on market since 2006.

The agency said these drugs are judged to be less cost-effective items.
