Hanmi spends 15% of revenue on R&D

Details of drug company spending revealed in the first half of this year show that a combined spending of the country's top pharmaceutical companies (29 companies listed in the Korean Exchange plus 17 companies listed in Kosdaq) was 266.3 billion won, up 16 percent from 2009 while they dished out a total of 271.8 billion won over a six-month period in order to boost sales.
