KFDA to launch swift recall system of substandard drugs

To alleviate growing anxiety of substandard drugs containing harmful substances, the Korea Food and Drug Administration has unveiled a plan to recall such items in real time by launching an effective management system from July 16.

Under the plan, drug recall information will be seen on KFDA’s computers when drug manufacturers report it to the drug agency.
