40 medicines should not be co-prescribed, HIRA says

The Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service said on July 4 that a total of 40 drugs should not be concomitantly used with others, or has safety problems and age limitations.

Administration of atorvastatin 80 mg to patients who are using itranconzole or ketoconazole is contraindicated.

Both metformin and iobitridol/iodixanol should not concomitantly prescribed.
