Hanall acquires local patent for combination bill

Hanall Biopharma said on June 4 that it won a Korean patent for a combination product containing thiazide and angiotensin receptor block for treatment of hypertension.

Hanall said its studies have shown that patients taking this pill are more compliant than those taking separate pills to treat their hypertension and cholesterol, such as taking Norvasc and Lipitor.
