KFDA to set up OTC oriented department

The Korea Food and Drug Administration has unveiled a plan to establish a new department to deal with over-the-counter (OTC) drugs. Possibly within early next year.

According to the drug agency, the OTC department will be solely responsible for screening the safety and efficacy of OTC products in an efficient manner.
