Pharmaceutical salespeople are in agony

The Ministry of Health and Welfare launched a crackdown on unlawful drug marketing activities in August of last year. It introduced a rule which slashes the price of a drug by up to 20 percent if its producer is found to have offered kickbacks to promote its sales. The drug company would face another 20 percent price cut if found to have provided rebates a second time.
