Clinics prescribe less antibiotics against acute upper respiratory tract infection

The antibiotics prescription rate of clinics for treatment of acute upper respiratory tract infection plunged to 51.1 percent in the latter half of last year, down 5.17 percent from the same period of 2008, the Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service (HIRA) said on April 8.
