Korea United likely to produce more products overseas

Korea United Co. will be able to manufacture more drugs in foreign production bases as the Korea Food and Drug Administration has recognized the comparative dissolution testing of metformin tablet to be imported from Vietnam instead of bioequivalence testing.

The regulator said the production base relocation will be an option to help the Korea drug maker reduce production costs.
