Bayer Healthcare said it will conduct its phase 4 study entitled “Low-dose Nifedipine-Valsartan Combination Compared to Up-titrated Valsartan Monotherapy in Essential Hypertension” in the Asia-Pacific region.”

For this study the company will recruit a total of 356 patients in China and Korea. 17 medical centers will join the clinical study.
