Drug makers at odds over campaign against rebates

A dispute is brewing among pharmaceutical companies, after 10 local leading drug manufacturers re-pledged on January 14 to stop the practice of giving “illegal rebates'' here.

These large pharmaceutical firms said they would refuse to give in to request for de-facto bribes.
