Per capita medication expense averages 210,000 won last year

A Korean spent an annual average of 210,000 won on medicine expense in 2008, according to a report released by the National Health Insurance Corporation and the Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service.

This reflects that 44million people visited pharmacies and around 9.5 trillion won was spent at pharmacies last year.
